eCAMION Inc. is turnkey solution provider for the community energy storage industry, specializing in the integration of battery solutions with advanced grid control interfaces to the control room. The patented intelligent controls operate seamlessly with building management systems, onsite generation, and the utility smart grid. We provide modular, flexible, energy storage, which improves reliability by optimizing new chemistry cells as well as repurposed battery cells. During 2009 eCAMION started trading and opened our first facility in Whitby, Ontario. In July 2011, eCAMION opened its new offices, R&D and manufacturing facility in Markham, Ontario, Canada (about 20 minutes north east of Toronto). We design and manufacture all new battery modules at this location including modules for the Community Energy Storage (CES) project.
Our Company was founded on the principle of providing green energy to support the future needs of a growing population and offering new solutions for Utilities, Automotive, Mining, Renewables and Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure. We are both a Canadian and American company. We are able to design battery modules to fit in any application. We customize a solution and then we are able to manufacture them in the most effective ways based on the commercial requirements of our customers.
In the Fall of 2009 we filed the first patent; the patent describes cooling methods to increase the life and safety of modular lithium-ion battery packs.The patent also describes advanced manufacturing techniques to reduce the costs and increase the quality during manufacturing. In late 2011 further patents were filed to support the development of our Community Energy Storage (CES) project, our eAPU projects, and our anti-idling projects.
With the assistance of Sustainable Development Technology Canada, and other other partners we are rapidly growing and continue to build a skilled team of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, and support teams to develop different markets.
